Ceramic Sculpture with local artist
An exciting opportunity for Years 9/10 art students from Bega, Bombala, Eden High Schools and Jindabyne Central School, to learn from ceramic artist Janna Ferris. Janna will travel to each school, sharing her experience in ceramic art. Students will produce a piece of work that will join other pieces to become a collaborative sculpture. This will be on permanent display in each school. Students will be taken through the complete aspects of production of a clay sculpture, from design, to shape, size, texture, making and addition of colour and then firing of each piece, culminating in the construction of the final sculpture. The funding for this visual art project has come from the NSW Country Area Program.
