Outline:
The Bombala Sense of Place Workshop was a collaborative effort, jointly organised by NPWS, Bournda EEC, Landcare and Southern Rivers CMA. Students participated in a range of activities conducted by each partner organisation including identification of weeds, waterbug survey, water quality testing, tree planting and kayaking.
The sense of place focus was to organise the day around the unifying theme of caring for the local platypus - something that students recognised and valued as being important to their local area.
